The Greenaway Foundation

The Greenaway Foundation, registered charity number 1187817 was formed in 2011 when Darren Greenaway provided Christmas dinner and presents for five local families; to date we have provided Christmas dinner for over 6,000 families and presents for over 10,000 children.

Since 2011, the Greenaway Foundation has been helping financially challenged families in the Crawley, Horley & East Grinstead areas on an ongoing basis. The primary aim of the charity is to provide ad hoc help to local families who ‘fly under the radar’ of getting formal help. Families are brought to our attention primarily through local schools, social services and other charities. Sadly, we are unable to take requests directly from parents or carers.

Darren’s aim for the charity is:
We will do everything we can to help, which can be from buying school uniforms and providing food or travel amongst many other things. When we are made aware of a problem we will try our best to help.

The charity is funded through fundraising events held throughout the year, local business sponsorship and the kindness of individual donations. Greenaway Residential Estate Agents also donates 10% of all company profits to The Greenaway Foundation.
