Sponsor a Food Item
For numerous years, local businesses have shown immense generosity by sponsoring food items for our Christmas hampers. Each hamper is thoughtfully assembled, containing all the essential ingredients required for a family to prepare a nourishing two-course Christmas meal. With the invaluable assistance of our dedicated volunteers, these hampers are delivered on the morning of Christmas Eve, spreading warmth and joy during the festive season.
Sponsor a Reindeer
By sponsoring one of Santa’s nine reindeer packages, you can help us purchase gifts in bulk for children in need. Whether you choose to support Dasher at £250 or Rudolph at £2,500, your generous sponsorship will directly fulfil Christmas wishes for children who might otherwise miss out on the joy of the season. Each “Reindeer Package” offers a different level of gifts, ranging from gaming vouchers to toy store credit, ensuring that children receive the exact items they have hoped for this Christmas.
Sponsor an Elf
Our “Elf Packages” extend beyond fulfilling Christmas wishes, offering vital support to families in need of extra assistance during the festive season. The Valerie Award, named in honour of Darren Greenaway’s mother, recognises families facing exceptional challenges. This support may include provisions for those without cooking facilities, enabling children to purchase a gift for a parent, or providing other essential items to help ease the burdens of the holiday period.
Volunteer: Be a Santa’s Helper, Elf or Reindeer
Volunteers are the heart and soul of The Greenaway Foundation’s Christmas campaign. We need enthusiastic helpers from 17th–24th December to help with various tasks, including wrapping gifts, packing hampers, and delivering them to families.

Packing Hampers

- Elves will pack and prepare hampers.
- Christmas Eve
- 6.30am to 12noon
- Elves will add fresh goods to hampers then help load these into reindeers’ “sleighs” for delivery.

Starting at 9.30am
Reindeers will deliver hampers to families across East & West Sussex, Surrey and Kent. Each reindeer will deliver up to four hampers per trip and will be able to specify preferred areas. - Last collections should be finished by 11:30am, leaving you time to enjoy your own Christmas festivities!
