Sponsor a Food Item
For the past six years, local businesses have generously come together to sponsor food items for our Christmas hampers. These hampers are carefully packed with all the ingredients a family needs to prepare a two-course Christmas meal.
Sponsor a Reindeer
Your sponsorship will directly fund Christmas wishes – specific presents children have requested – helping to spread joy and warmth to families who might otherwise go without. Each “Reindeer Package” provides a different level of gifts, from gaming vouchers to toy store credit, giving children the exact items they have wished for this Christmas.
Sponsor an Elf
Our “Elf Packages” go beyond Christmas wishes, helping families who need a little extra support. The Valerie Award, named after Darren Greenaway’s mother, honours families who are facing particularly difficult challenges. These families will receive extra gifts, food, or other essentials to help them through the holidays.
Volunteer: Be a Santa’s Elf or Reindeer
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Greenaway Foundation’s Christmas campaign. We need enthusiastic helpers from 10th–24th December to help with various tasks, including wrapping gifts, packing hampers, and delivering them to families.

Packing Hampers
- 23rd December

- Oriel High School
- Elves will pack and prepare hampers.
- 24th December (Christmas Eve)
- 7:00AM – 12 NOON
- Elves will add fresh goods to hampers then help load these into reindeers’ “sleighs” for delivery.
Hampers Deliveries

Starting at 9.30am
Reindeers will deliver hampers to families across Crawley, Horley, and East Grinstead. Each reindeer will deliver up to four hampers per trip and will be able to specify preferred areas. - Deliveries should be finished by 11:30am, leaving you time to enjoy your own Christmas festivities!
